The conference will solely be conducted in English and no simultaneous translation will be provided.
U.A.E. has a mild climate in February and temperature ranges between 10°C-20°C. Rainfall is possible.
All participants, accompanying persons and exhibitors are kindly requested to wear their badges during the conference in order to be admitted to the venue and other scheduled activities.
The official currency in UAE is Dirhams (AED/Dhs).
Banking hours are Sunday to Thursday 08:00 - 14:00. On weekends and all afternoons banks are closed.
Automated cash dispensers are located outside every bank and other areas and cash can be withdrawn 24 hours a day.
Foreign currency may be changed at banks, hotels, airports and in exchange offices.
All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.
The organizers are not liable for any injury or damage involving individuals and property during the conference. Participants are advised to take their own personal, travel and health insurance with them for their trip.
Participants are requested to check with the Sharjah/UAE Consulate in their home country or with their travel agency for visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.

EXEMPTIONS: Nationals from 47 countries in Europe, North America and the Pacific Rim can enter UAE without obtaining a visa in advance. Their passports will be stamped with a visit visa as they pass through Immigration on arrival. Nationals from the countries listed below can now board at their airports of origin without a visa. (This applies to all UAE airports and to passengers travelling on all airlines).
The 47 countries are: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vatican City.
Gulf Co-operation Council States – Nationals of The GCC are NOT required to apply for a visa in advance. Nationals of countries not listed above must apply for a visa in advance via the attached application form.
Following Countries have to check with the UAE Embassy / Consulate or Travel Agent in their respective country for VISA Application:
TUNISIA, SYRIAN, SOMALIA, YEMEN, BANGLADESH, LIBYA, PALESTINE
Full Passports: All passengers travelling to the United Arab Emirates must be in possession of a valid passport, which must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the United Arab Emirates.Sharjah and Dubai both offer an efficient and modern public transport system consisting of buses and taxis.
There are scheduled buses available at bus stations which can be conveniently found all over Sharjah and Dubai.
Located 5 km southeast from the city, Sharjah International Airport is a 10-minute drive and Dubai International Airport is a 20-minute drive from The University of Sharjah (“UoS”), University City Rd., Sharjah, U. A. E.
Taxis are available outside the arrival gate.
The journey to the city center takes approximately 20 minutes depending on the traffic and costs approximately AED 40.
A commercial exhibition will take place within the framework of the Conference.
